Giving FAQs: Everything You Need to Know About Living Generously
Have questions about giving at Accelerate Church? We’ve got answers. Whether you're curious about tithing, where your money goes, or how to get started — this page is here to help you give with confidence and clarity.
1. What happens to the money I give?
Every dollar given goes directly toward building God’s Kingdom — helping people encounter Jesus, resourcing ministries for kids, students, and families, and serving real needs inside and outside our church and in the Delaware Valley region. We operate under a clear financial plan with generosity, stewardship, and impact as our guiding values.
2. Does my giving really make a difference?
Yes. Your generosity helps create environments where distracted and disconnected people can encounter Jesus, find healing, and flourish. When you give, you're not just meeting a budget — you're helping rewrite eternal stories.
3. Is this just about money?
No — this is about trust and heart alignment. Jesus said, "Where your treasure is, there your heart will be also" (Matthew 6:21). Giving shifts our hearts from accumulation toward devotion, from fear toward freedom.
4. What if I'm not sure I can afford to tithe?
We get it. Tithing is a step of faith, not a test of finances. Many people realize that tithing actually brings clarity and order to their finances — because when you trust God first, He promises to provide what you need.
5. How do I know Accelerate Church manages finances responsibly?
We take stewardship seriously. Accelerate operates with financial accountability, budget transparency, and external oversight. We give away 10% of everything that comes in to missions and local outreach, because we believe in living what we preach.
